Overview:
Veritable North is seeking a hands-on and customer-focused IT Manager to lead our internal technology operations. This critical role involves managing day-to-day IT systems, infrastructure, and internal support across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with solid expertise in servers, databases, workstations, and networking—plus the ability to support or maintain internal tools (Python a plus).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily IT operations including servers, databases, workstations, and network systems
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across departments
Provide excellent internal customer service to support staff and operations
Lead or contribute to development of internal tools and automation solutions
Ensure data integrity, security, and backup protocols are implemented and effective
Coordinate with vendors and support partners as needed
Maintain and improve system documentation and internal IT procedures
Qualifications:
5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in an IT leadership or systems admin role
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments (server & workstation)
Solid knowledge of networking, databases, and system security
Experience with scripting or programming (Python preferred)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with internal stakeholders
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, manufacturing-driven environment
